Dreams Have Hidden Meaning
Weird or Strange Dreams
Most dreams do seem weird. Here's why: Your subconscious mind is choosing isolated symbols stored in your subconscious mind - and then has to weave them into a story so you will remember the dream.
Your dream self often uses what is called 'dream substitution.' For example: If you are fearful about your job, you may dream about going into a high school class and discover that you have forgotten to study for the test.
Recurring Dreams
There are two different kinds of recurring dreams:
A typical recurring dream has the exact-same dream content every time you have it. These usually begin in childhood and stem from something fearful that happened in life. They can also stem from adult PTSD.
The other kind of recurrance is the "recurring-theme" dream. One thing is the dream is usually the same, such as your old high school, or childhood home, or someone from a past relationship - however what happens in that setting is somewhat different every time.
Nightmares/Bad Dreams
Most nightmares are a reflection of a stuck emotion. If there is something in your life that worries or scares you, like not having enough money to pay a bill, you may dream about a snake or spider attacking you, or a bad person chasing you. A nightmare does this to 'show' you how scared you are about your real-life situation, and shows that this fear is stuck in your subconscious. When you Decipher the nightmare, you will get the actual hidden message, and usually receive Spirit guidance as well.
